When midnight strikes, young Clara’s enchanted gift of a nutcracker leads her into a wondrous world... with the valiant Nutcracker Soldier at her side, Clara journeys to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. There, the Sugar Plum Fairy bids everyone to dance in her honor.
Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" is a cherished tradition, an essential part of every little girl (and boy's) holiday fun. What better way to introduce them to the beauty of ballet, live theater and the fun of the holidays?
This December, the all-male, Men In Tutus, brings us their hilarious version of The Nutcracker – music by Tchaikovsky, (some) choreography by Petipa, (a bit more) by Balanchine, and a lot more by Victor Trevino – together, the perfect festive celebration for the whole family.
VICTOR TREVINO - Artistic Director
Victor started dancing in Male Comedy Ballet in 1986 with Les Ballets Trockadero De Monte Carlo where, for nearly ten years, he danced most of the leading roles in the company. He was then head-hunted by Zak, the Japanese entertainment company, to become the founder and artistic director of Les Ballets Grandiva, and for thirteen years he created comedy ballets which toured the world.
More recently, wishing to spend more time with family back in his native USA, he formed the new all-male comedy ballet company, Ballet Eloelle, and in 2013 brought us Swan Lake. Now he's back with The Nutcracker!

What was once Gardner & Wife's first ever ballet has become one of their most "when are they coming again" shows! Now back under the artistic guidance of the great Dying Swan, choreographer Victor Trevino, and with a brand-new name - LES BALLET ELOELLE'S: MEN IN TUTUS - they wowed audiences both in KL and Penang.
Gardner & Wife's first ever ballet LES BALLET GRANDIVA: MEN IN TUTUS proved again that genuine artistry mixed with comedy is irresistible! Generating standing ovations and encores the dancers performed five ballets in two acts, including the company's signature piece, the parody of Fokine's The Dying Swan. They return this January.
In January 2010, Gardner & Wife took LES BALLET GRANDIVA: MEN IN TUTUS on a three week, three-country tour - to Dr. Sun Yat Sen Hall in Taipei, KLPAC in Malaysia and The Esplanade Theatre in Singapore. Where, this time under the guidance of their new Artistic Director, Brian Norris, they yet again performed to full houses and enthusiastic audiences.
